Billing, Plans, and Pricing FAQ
This guide answers common questions about Attribution.ai's pricing, payment management, and account lifecycle. All billing is handled securely through Stripe.

Attribution.ai offers a single, all-inclusive plan:
$399/month + $0.05 per order
Everything is included:
- Unlimited Shopify stores
- Unlimited integrations (Facebook, Google, TikTok, Amazon, Snapchat, Klaviyo)
- MMM and budget modeling
- AI-powered insights
- Post-purchase surveys
- Pixel tracking
- All attribution models (last-click, first-click, linear, time-decay, position-based, Markov chain)

Annual billing
Annual billing is available at $319.20/month (billed annually) — that's 20% off everything, including per-order pricing ($0.04/order instead of $0.05). Switch at any time from Settings > Billing.
Per-order billing
Every order processed through Attribution.ai is billed at a flat $0.05 per order ($0.04 on annual plans). Orders are counted based on Shopify order events processed during each billing cycle. Cancelled, refunded, or test orders marked as such in Shopify are excluded from the count. There is no hard order cap — your attribution keeps running.
AI Tokens
Each month, your plan includes 5M AI tokens for insight reports, MCP queries, MMM runs, and incrementality analysis. Most brands stay well within the included budget.
Overage beyond your included tokens is billed at $10 per 1M tokens at the end of your billing cycle. Features are never blocked. You can monitor your token usage in Settings > Billing.
MMM Scheduling
MMM is token-gated, not frequency-gated. Each run consumes AI tokens from your monthly included budget, and you can run MMM as often as needed based on your use case.
Free Trial
How does the free trial work?
Attribution.ai includes a 14-day free trial. A credit card is required to start your trial. During the trial, you have full access to all features. You will not be charged until the trial ends.
What happens when my trial ends?
If you do not continue after your 14-day trial:
- Your account enters a read-only state. You can still view your existing data, but new data collection pauses.
- The pixel continues to be installed but stops recording events.
- No data is deleted. If you subscribe within 30 days of your trial ending, all previously collected data is preserved.
Payment Methods
What payment methods are accepted?
Attribution.ai accepts all major credit and debit cards through Stripe:
- Visa
- Mastercard
- American Express
- Discover
How do I update my payment method?
- Navigate to Settings > Billing > Payment Method.
- Click Update.
- You will be directed to a secure Stripe-hosted form to enter your new card details.
- Your new card will be used for all future charges.
What if my payment fails?
If a scheduled payment fails (e.g., expired card, insufficient funds):
- Stripe automatically retries the payment up to 3 times over the following days.
- You will receive an email notification about the failed payment with instructions to update your card.
- During the retry period, your account remains fully active.
- If all retries fail, your account enters a grace period of 7 days. During this time, data collection continues but you will see a payment warning banner in your dashboard.
- After the grace period, your account is paused until payment is resolved. No data is deleted.
Billing Cycle and Invoices
When am I billed?
Billing occurs on a monthly cycle starting from the date you first subscribed. For example, if you subscribed on January 15, you are billed on the 15th of each month. Your invoice includes the base platform fee ($399), per-order charges ($0.05 per order), and any AI token overage.
Where can I find my invoices?
Navigate to Settings > Billing > Invoices. You can view and download PDF invoices for every billing cycle. You also receive an email receipt after each successful charge.
Cancellation
How do I cancel my subscription?
- Go to Settings > Billing.
- Click Cancel Subscription.
- You will be asked to confirm and optionally provide a reason for cancellation.
- Your access continues until the end of your current billing period. You are not charged again after cancellation.
What happens to my data after cancellation?
- Your data is retained for 30 days after the end of your billing period.
- During this 30-day retention period, you can resubscribe and all your data will be restored.
- After 30 days, your data is permanently deleted from Attribution.ai's systems.
- The tracking pixel and survey extension stop collecting new data at the end of your billing period.
Can I pause my subscription instead of cancelling?
We do not currently offer a pause feature. If you have a seasonal business and want to temporarily stop your subscription, you can cancel and resubscribe later. As long as you resubscribe within 30 days, your historical data is preserved.
Refunds
What is the refund policy?
- 14-day money-back guarantee: If you are unsatisfied within the first 14 days of a paid subscription (after your trial), contact support for a full refund.
- After 14 days: Refunds are evaluated on a case-by-case basis. Contact support to discuss your situation.
- Cancellation refunds: Cancellations do not include a prorated refund for the remainder of the billing cycle. Your access continues until the end of the paid period.
How do I request a refund?
Contact support through the Help section in your dashboard or email support directly. Include your account email and the reason for your refund request. Refund requests are typically processed within 3-5 business days.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is there a setup fee? No. There are no setup fees, onboarding fees, or hidden costs.
Do I need a credit card to start the free trial? Yes. A credit card is required to start the 14-day free trial. You will not be charged until the trial ends.
Are there any long-term contracts? No. Billing is month-to-month (or annually if you choose annual billing) with no long-term commitment. You can cancel at any time.
Do integrations cost extra? No. All integrations (Facebook, Google, TikTok, Amazon, Snapchat, Klaviyo) are included at no additional cost.
What currency are prices in? All prices are in US Dollars (USD). Stripe handles currency conversion automatically if your card is in a different currency.
Can I get custom pricing for very high order volumes? Yes. If your store processes a very high volume of orders, contact our sales team to discuss custom pricing.
